Data Migration
Use Access to move data from one application to another, even from SQL Server, Oracle or flat file systems
We are frequently approached to design or develop Microsoft Access databases primarily to help improve work flow and productivity with our custom solutions. We love getting into the detail from development of queries, designing forms and tables, and creating macros and Visual Basic code. We do it all and we have more than a few years of experience in this respect.
More frequently as technology changes, we need to become more relevant to the advantages of upgrading versions and these days we are approached more to convert or port MS Access database applications to either MS SQL or 3rd party web based technology. We often suggest converting MS Access databases to MySQL web based applications.

While Excel is a perfect tool so long as your data can be maintained in simple lists, the moment you have to manage more complex data or make frequent changes in the data, you are better off using the Microsoft Access Database. Of course, you may still need to exchange data between Excel spreadsheets and Access database to conveniently present some data or till all the data is managed in Access.
